DAVE Peter McCain
Peter McCain is New York based actor with strong roots in Wisconsin. After completing his training at NYU’s Graduate Acting Program he has worked in Independent films, Off-Broadway theater, as well as in the commercial world. Recent New York credits include the Much Ado About Nothing and The Ruby Sunrise (The Public Theater); St. Joan of the Stockyards (PS122); the U.S. premier of Chuck Mee’s A Perfect Wedding and the World Premier of the same author’s Mail Order Bride (Beckett Theater); The Mentee premier from author of the acclaimed film The Woodsman; UNBOUND: The journals of Fanny Kemble (Prospect Theater); The Penis Monolgues: Men Speak (Beckett Theater). Other work includes Zelda Fichandler’s production of The Cherry Orchard, Dario Fo’s We Won’t Pay! We Won’t Pay!, Ellen’s Empty Chair (Illusion Theater), Beggars in the House of Plenty (Phoenix Playhouse), and playing Don Armado in Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost. Peter can also be seen in the independent film Approaching Union Square, and the upcoming television series Moving Numbers.
